Your pants should sit comfortably without needing a belt, allowing for two fingers to fit between the waistband and your body without causing discomfort. Our signature curved waistband is designed to fit the natural shape of your hips to make sure your fit is always clean.
Rise refers to the distance from the crotch seam to the top of the waist, while length (or inseam) is the measurement from the crotch seam to the hem at the leg opening. A higher (or lower rise) can affect fit and style preferences, e.g., a high-rise pant is a more classic look.
For styles not made in exact inseams, we offer Short, Regular, and Long lengths. If your preferred inseam is 30” or less, choose Short; if it’s between 31”-33”, choose Regular; and if it’s 34” and up, choose Long.
Pants offered in One Fit are not available in our full Fit range. These select styles are designed with a specific fit intent rather than follow our other fits.
Our shorts are cut the same as our pants in the waist, seat and hips, so you always get the same natural fit. The main difference is in the inseam options, which can come down to both style and function. *Pro Tip: The shorter the inseam, the bigger the leg opening — fit around the larger part of your thigh.

But, typically, if you’re under 5’9”, we recommend Short lengths, and Long lengths if you’re over 6’1”. And if you find yourself somewhere in the middle, Regular length shirts are your best bet.
If you have broader shoulders or larger arms, no need to size up — just select shirts available in Athletic Fit. Preferred style not available in Athletic? Then we recommend Standard Fit in one size up.
Your collar should gently touch your skin, not press against it. To check for a proper fit, slide two fingers (side by side) into the buttoned collar. The collar should feel snug but not tight.

It should fit snugly without wrinkling or restricting movement. The shoulder seam should align with the natural shoulder line, and the fabric should lie flat without pulling. The chest should be fitted; avoid a blazer that pulls when buttoned.
Your shirt sleeves should end just below your wrist bone, roughly where the palm meets the wrist. When wearing a jacket, about a ½” of your cuff should be visible.
When buttoned, there should be a slight give in the chest, allowing you to move freely without feeling restricted. You should be able to button the blazer comfortably without causing any pulling on the fabric.
A suit jacket sleeve should ideally end just above the wrist bone, allowing about a ½” of your shirt cuff to be visible. If the jacket sleeve covers your wrist bone or extends beyond your hand, it's likely too long. If your shirt cuff is barely visible or not at all, the jacket sleeves are likely too short.
