Our athletic fit has a little bit more room in the quads and seat but maintains a slim fit down the leg. This results in a pant that maintains a lower profile and has a much better fit appearance than you'd get out of a size up to accommodate leg mass. If you've tried on the slim fit and found they were too tight, the athletic fit might be the pant fit for you.
